After Joey's talk at DebConf about debhelper, I created a page to monitor CDBS vs debhelper usage in the next future.

It is very approximate, it just looks at the build-dependencies, but comparing the trends of CDBS vs dh we might be able to understand in the future whether CDBS is gaining or loosing acceptance. To do better, I would need to run the stats where source packages are available (e.g. on lintian.d.o) and actually check whether dh is actually used. Mmmh, TODO item ...
